Both professional educators, Silveira and Hernandez provide a blueprint to help your next project, regardless of time or budget constraints. This workshop session is designed as a mindset reset to help attendees get out of their heads and into production.

A troubled 14-year-old boy grows increasingly isolated as he obsesses over the circumstances surrounding his father's death. His descent puts him on a dismal and potentially violent course that will lead to major truths and even greater questions. (Directed by Miguel Silveira)

Feature Film Screening (52 Minutes)

The story of two Lakota women who work to expose the human cost of uranium mining and its impact on sacred water.  Debra White Plume is a grandmother and tireless leader in the fight to protect her people's water and land from corporate polluters.  Debra is the lead plaintiff in a case challenging uranium mining on Lakota treaty territory.  Elisha Yellow Thunder intimately understands the dangers of contaminated water.  A young mother and a geology student, she unknowingly drank water with high levels of radiation while pregnant with her first daughter, whose severe medical anomalies are life-threatening. (Directed and Co-written by Suree Towfighnia, Co-written by Reuben Cruz)
